Zeagley Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting cards for grading to Zeagley LLC ("Zeagley"), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Grading Services
Zeagley provides professional sports card grading services using proprietary grading technology and expert review. Cards are graded and encapsulated in tamper-proof holders to maintain integrity. All grades assigned are final and represent Zeagley’s expert opinion at the time of grading. Zeagley does not guarantee a specific grade or the market value of any card before or after grading.
3. Turnaround Times
Our estimated turnaround times are provided as a guideline and are not guaranteed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Expedited services may be available for an additional fee but are still subject to potential processing delays due to workload and unforeseen circumstances.
4. Submission Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring all submitted cards are authentic and securely packaged. Zeagley is not liable for damage resulting from improper packaging by the customer. Customers are advised to use protective sleeves, rigid card holders, and bubble-wrapped packaging to prevent damage during transit.
5. Fees and Payments
All grading fees must be paid in full before processing begins. Fees are non-refundable unless Zeagley determines a card is ineligible for grading. No refunds or adjustments will be made based on customer disagreement with the assigned grade. Additional fees may apply for special requests.
6. Shipping and Insurance
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping. Zeagley offers return shipping but is not liable for loss or damage during transit.
7. Limitation of Liability
Zeagley is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs before a card is received or after it has been returned to the customer. However, Zeagley takes great care in handling all submitted cards using advanced, non-invasive grading technology. In the rare event that a card is inadvertently damaged while in Zeagley’s possession, the customer may choose between a full refund of the grading fee or reimbursement for the fair market value of the card before grading.
The fair market value will be determined based on publicly available sales data, including verified marketplace transactions, or established price guides. Customers requesting market value reimbursement must provide documentation to support the card’s value. Zeagley will make the final determination on the appropriate reimbursement amount based on the provided documentation and available market data. Zeagley does not compensate for speculative future value or sentimental value.
8. Card Encapsulation
Zeagley’s holders are tamper-proof and designed to protect card integrity. Any attempt to alter, open, or reseal a graded card voids Zeagley’s grading assessment. Zeagley does not re-encapsulate cards that have been tampered with or damaged post-grading. Zeagley is not liable for any damage that may occur to a card during the grading or encapsulation process. If a card is inadvertently damaged while in Zeagley’s possession, our liability is strictly limited to a refund of the grading fee. Zeagley does not compensate for the card’s market value, replacement, or sentimental value.
9. No Re-Evaluations or Grade Changes
Zeagley’s grading system is fully automated and based on proprietary algorithms. Because grading is conducted through objective and quantifiable data points. As a result, all grades are final, non-contestable, and cannot be changed.
10. Fraud Prevention & Authentication
Zeagley reserves the right to reject submissions suspected of counterfeiting, alteration, or fraud. Any fraudulent submission may be reported to law enforcement or relevant authorities. Zeagley uses proprietary authentication methods to verify card authenticity. If a card is deemed not authentic, it will be returned to the customer, and the grading fee will not be refunded.
11. Intellectual Property & Branding
All Zeagley branding, grading materials, proprietary AI algorithms, labels, and holders are the exclusive property of Zeagley LLC. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of Zeagley materials is strictly prohibited.
12. Governing Law & Arbitration Agreement
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States. All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Washington State before any legal action. Customers waive their right to a jury trial or class-action lawsuit against Zeagley.
13. Amendments & Policy Updates
Zeagley reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers are responsible for reviewing any changes. Continued use of Zeagley’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
